A successful showcase in Dongguang
Hongwu Machinery took part in the 2026 Hebei Cangzhou Dongguang Plastic Packaging Expo, held in Dongguang from 16 to 19 September. Our team presented the HGF-300-J high-speed dry laminating machine in its basic configuration and welcomed customers, partners and industry professionals for four days of equipment demonstrations and technical discussions.
Dongguang is an important hub for China's plastic packaging industry. The exhibition brought together suppliers of packaging materials, printing and laminating machinery, slitting and bag-making equipment, and supporting technologies. At the Hongwu booth, visitors discussed lamination processes, machine stability, energy use, operation and maintenance with our technical team.
Equipment spotlight: HGF-300-J
Developed as a cost-conscious option for flexible packaging converters, the HGF-300-J basic model combines a single-station, five-motor configuration with a maximum mechanical design speed of 300 m/min. Actual production speed depends on the material structure, adhesive, drying conditions and equipment configuration.

- Unwinding: asynchronous servo motor with a floating roller for constant tension control, supporting stable aluminium foil handling at very low tension.
- Drying: a segmented oven with an energy-saving heating system designed to reduce exhaust airflow and increase solvent concentration in the exhaust stream, helping retain heat and maintain uniform temperatures.
The machine is designed to address common production challenges, including unstable web tension, foil wrinkling, uneven coating, high drying energy consumption and inconsistent winding. It offers small and medium-sized flexible packaging businesses an option for equipment upgrades, changing production orders and improving lamination quality.
Practical conversations, lasting partnerships
Throughout the exhibition, our team discussed customers' day-to-day lamination challenges and equipment selection requirements. These conversations helped us explore suitable configurations and tailored solutions for different materials and production goals.
Visitors highlighted the importance of balancing lamination quality, investment cost and operating efficiency, especially as converters handle both varied, small-batch orders and larger production runs. Alongside dry laminating machines, Hongwu supplies gravure printing machines, coating equipment and metal laminating equipment, helping customers plan the equipment needed for their converting processes.
